| Scandinavia - 10 Days Capital and Fjords |

Helsinki
Helsinki is a sea-town par excellence and an exciting, dynamic place. Half the city seems to be water, and the tortured geography of the coastline includes any number of bays, inlets and a speckling of islands. The harbour is the heart of the city, and watching the giant ferries glide into port is a defining memory and essential Helsinki experience.
Stockholm
Sweden's capital is one of the most beautiful major cities in the world, a mirage of saffron- and terracotta-coloured buildings shimmering between blue water and bluer skies all summer, or covered with snow and dotted with lights in winter. It's also a vibrant, modern city, famous for producing sleek designs, edgy fashion and world-class nightclubs.
Bergen
Surrounded by seven hills and seven fjords, Bergen is a beautiful, charming city. With the Unesco World Heritage-listed Bryggen and buzzing Vågen harbour as its centrepiece, Bergen climbs the hillsides with hundreds of timber-clad houses, while cable cars offer stunning views from above. Throw in great museums, friendly locals and a dynamic cultural life and Bergen amply rewards as much time as you can give it.
Geilo
At Geilo, midway between Oslo and Bergen, one can practically step off the train onto a ski lift. In summer, there's plenty of fine hiking in the area. Geilo is primarily a ski resort town, but also offers summer activities. Geilo is in a valley with mountain ranges on each side. Geilo downtown lies at 800 meters above sea level, and its highest point is 1178 meters above sea level.
Oslo
Hemmed by a 'fjord' and kilometres of woodland, Norway's capital is an easy-going city with an eclectic architectural mix of old, new and just plain 1960s that is hard not to like. The perfect size for exploring on foot, the city boasts world-class museums, a lively nightlife and plenty of outdoor activities for the energetic. The combination of city life and easy access to outdoor activities makes Oslo a unique destination.
Copenhagen
The coolest, most cosmopolitan, most exciting and the most wonderful city in Scandinavia.
Copenhagen, the capital of Denmark is Scandinavia's most fantastic city, and part of the most dynamic region in Northern Europe, the Øresund Region. The city is one of Europe's oldest capitals with a royal touch - the Danish monarchy being the oldest in the world!

Day 2 : Helsinki - Stockholm (ferry)
Breakfast at the hotel.
Helsinki, the capital of Finland since 1917, was founded by King Gustav Vasa of
Sweden in 1550. Helsinki is a compact and beautiful city that is ideal for seeing on
foot. The city also has an excellent public transportation system for getting around
and visiting outlying areas.
Art enthusiasts will love Helsinki and its large number of high quality museums and
galleries. Helsinki is also an important city for design and architecture.
The Cathedral of Helsinki is a must and is perhaps the most photographed and
recognizable building in Finland.
We recommend an audio city tour which is a popular sightseeing tour with recorded
commentary and sound effects, giving you a wide variety of information about
Helsinki. ( Service not included)
The many sights include the Senate Square, Uspenski Cathedral, the Parliament Building and the Olympic Stadium. Stops are also made at the Sibelius Monument and, when possible, at the Temppeliaukio Church.
A visit to the Seurasaari Open Air Museum is well worth your time. The open-air museum of Seurasaari is located on a beautiful green island just a few kilometers from the heart of Helsinki. All the different provinces of Finland are represented in the well preserved old buildings and they give an overall view of Finnish countryside life from the 18th to the 20th century. At present, there are 87 separate buildings at Seurasaari Museum.
Possibility for a private transfer to the ferry terminal. ( Service not included)
Approx.: 17:00 hrs: Departure with a ferry of the Tallink Silja company to Stockholm.
Accommodation in 2-berth inside cabins.

Stockholm was founded in 1252. It was named Stockholm, as referring to the town in between the bridges (14 islands that are connected with 57 bridges). It is known as one of the most beautiful capital in the world and is often referred to the "Venice of the North" due to its numerous, canals and waterways. Possibility of a private transfer to the hotel (Services not includes prices mentioned under supplement).
We recommend to join a 2 ½ hours city sightseeing, Stockholm in a nutshell. This is a combination tour which shows you the whole of Stockholm. After one hour and a half, you will transfer to a boat to sail around the royal park of Djurgården and past the most inner archipelago islands ( service not included)
Also recommendable is a boat trip on the canals to the Drottningholm castle. The castle was built in 1662 and is the residence of the Royal family of Sweden. It is situated outside Stockholm with a wonderful view of the water and has very nice gardens ( service not included)

Breakfast at the hotel.
Day at your own disposal.
Bergen, often called the gateway to the fjords, is the second largest city in Norway, and used to be a very important seaport town. The famous Bryggen harbour is a huddle of timber buildings sheltering museums, restaurants and art shops. Here you also find the fish and flower market where you will find fresh and very tasty seafood snacks. The narrow alleys offer a glimpse of the stacked-stone foundations and reconstructed rough plank construction of centuries past.
We recommend a 3 hrs sightseeing tour in Bergen. Included is a visit to the Bryggen
harbour, the fish and flower market, Troldhaugen and the Fantoft Stavechurch.
( Service not included, price mentioned under supplements).

Day 7 : Geilo - Oslo

Approx. 10:58: Departure by train to Oslo.
Approx. 14:32: Arrival in Oslo.
Oslo is situated at the end of the Oslo Fjord and is the largest city in Norway with a closeness to nature few other capitals can provide.
The day is at your own disposal for personal discovery and shopping. We recommend a walk down the Karl Johans gate, Oslo's main street for shopping, a stroll along the Aker
Brygge with its numerous shops, cafes, bars and restaurants, the Akershus Fortress, or some of the excellent museums in town, like the National Art Gallery, or

Day 9 : Copenhagen
Breakfast on board.
Approx. 09:30 hrs: Arrival in Copenhagen.
Possibility of a private transfer (Service not included)
Copenhagen once a humble fishing village and today the glittering capital of the Danish empire. Copenhagen is considered as one of the world's premier capitals of design and Scandinavia's pre-eminent city. The city's 1000 year history written by ambitious kings, inspiring artist and designers, are found in the sumptuous palaces, copper roofed town houses and atmospheric cobbled squares.
We recommend a 2,5 hrs sightseeing tour of Copenhagen. The tour starts by coach and continues by boat. The coach passes by most of the major sights of Copenhagen - e.g. the National Gallery, New Carlsberg Glyptotek, the magnificent Gefion Fountain and Kongens Nytorv. At The Old Fishmarket a pre-booked canal boat is waiting to take you on a cruise through the bustling harbour of Copenhagen. From the boat you can enjoy the many wonderful towers and famous places of Copenhagen. One of the great highlights of the trip is The Little Mermaid. The cruise continues through the picturesque canals of Christianshavn and Frederiksholm, where historical buildings are to be enjoyed side by side with new architecture.
We end our tour in the very heart of Copenhagen - at Gammel Strand, which is only
a few minutes walk from Strøget, the main shopping street in the city. (Service not included)
In the evening we recommend a visit to the famous Tivoli gardens. (Entrance
included).
Accommodation at Scandic Hotel Sydhavn (or similar), centrally located but has
an excellent bus and train connection into the centre (3 km).
